Aside from the spectacular lines composing the rim, the matt black coating of the base gives Hanzo a distinctive character in contrast with the polished face.

Like other Dotz products in its range, the Hanzo can be customized with a hubcap and inlays. Hubcaps can come as silver, green, orange or yellow and indicate the size of the wheels in inches. Inlays for the spokes are also available but these can be used as stickers for the bragging rights which comes with the Dotz brand.

The Hanzo range from the Dotz is released as 17, 18, and 19-inch rims. A 7,5×17 rim was released which made owners of cars with high offset thankful since this is the answer for their ABE worries.

The Hanzo was named after Hattori Hanzo who was a legendary Samurai warrior. He became famous in the 16th century for his fearless war tactics and operations

Hanzo became famous in this generation as it was used as a character in the Hollywood movie Kill Bill. Anime characters are also named or inspired by the persona of Hattori Hanzo.
